Top 10 Celebrity Moustaches

In 2013, the moustache has become somewhat of a trend. With the handlebar style being seen all over the high street, it seems Movember has had a lasting effect, especially for those in the celebrity world who are reluctant to get rid of their statement ‘taches. Now moustache mania is upon us, it seems like the perfect time to analyse the best moustaches in the media.

 

1) Brad Pitt has come up trumps on this list. He wipes out the competition with his varying styles and credit where it is due he has some determination, never giving up on his ‘tache. Although the recent perfume advert he is facing has been named 2013’s worst, his moustache in the old style commercial has won our award. He pulls it off with effortless grace and the relaxed moustache is very 60’s, adding to his gentleman image.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2) Johnny Depp clinches second place. His moustache adds the masculine touch to his feminine haircut, creating the perfect balance. His bohemian look has been around for years and when you add the cowboy hat, no one pulls it off better. The goatee is one of the most popular and most recognised moustaches around and he adds his own style, making his look an image of perfection.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3) In 3^rd place is Hulk Hogan. His bleach blonde facial hair has defined the machine of a man for years and we’re pretty sure he visits his designer hairdresser regularly for colour touch ups and proper maintenance. His ‘tache is something to be admired, with not one hair out of place it is obvious he cares a lot for his facial hair.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4) Tom Selleck has to be one of the biggest moustache advocates around. In the 80’s he was arguably the biggest moustache icon, with so many people growing their facial hair, hoping it would look just like Tom Selleck’s. This is why he comes in at fourth place.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5) Freddie Mercury was sure to place on the list at some point and he comes in at an impressive fifth place. Although it is a step down and others have replaced him at the top spot, his tache is still a firm favourite and will never be forgotten.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6) Funny man, John Cleese secures sixth place with his famous tache that was the pinnacle of Basil Fawlty. His moustache gives an aura of English charm, making his look classic and very old English.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7) George Clooney has changed his moustache style a lot over the years and sometimes even chose to abandon it. His famous silver locks have made him one of the most fashionable celebrities around and embracing his grey hair further, he decided growing a tache was the perfect idea. 8) His moustache has to be one of the most groomed taches around. Orlando Bloom has reinvented the pencil moustache, making it ultimately chic, tying in perfectly with the rest of his appearance. 9) Daniel Craig probably pulls off the rugged facial hair best. Finding the right balance between style and the laid back attitude, he creates a moustache that is enviable to most men. 10) Papa, the face of Dolmio pasta sauce comes in at a very admirable tenth place, especially for a puppet. He has the stereotypical Italian tache down to a tee and although he may not be a human, he is definitely still a celebrity.
