The points of the Bermuda Triangle begin in a clockwise fashion, with Bermuda, Puerto Rico and end with Miami. Apparently, over 5,000+ people have gone missing by sea or air above this mysterious area.
Ships and planes lost in the sea and air have simply disappeared without a trace. What is especially odd is that there were never, in any of the incidents, reports of sinking or damage to the vessels, not even a mayday transmission. Why these ships and planes vanished is a question that has still not been answered. Some believe a black hole exists in the area and gulps up anything that gets to close to it.
Most scientists know and can prove that the Bermuda triangle is not a black hole. British Doctor, Ben Clennell has his own theory that seems a little less out of this world.
He theorizes that methane hydrates maybe the reason ships go missing in the area. His argument is that subterranean landslides are possibly responsible for unlocking huge beds of methane. This reduces water density and causes a ship floating on the surface to sink. The ‘Sea of Monsters’ (read:methane), could also cause jets and airplanes to combust due to gasses rising into the air.
Could little green men be responsible for the strange disappearances? Aliens seem just an easy way to explain everything away in modern times. Where once it was devils and demons, elfs and fairies, now we cast our blame to the stars.
Let’s take a quick look at the number of North Americans who believe in Aliens. Where are you on the graph?
